A Place for Ideas to Wander

Whisper Press Studio is a maker space for paper, play, experiments, and whatever idea happens to be interesting enough to follow. Some things become products. Some become projects. Some get shared along the way. And some are simply made because they were worth making.

Around here, creativity doesn't have to earn its keep.

It Started With a Whisper

Before Whisper Press Studio, there was Vale & Glow—a quiet little world built around Glowcodes, short coded messages I called Whispers.

When I started imagining notepads, journals, and other paper goods to go along with them, those ideas found a home in a little corner of Vale & Glow called The Paper Vale.

Except the paper ideas didn't stay little. One idea led to another, then another, until that little corner needed room of its own.

That room became Whisper Press Studio.

An Unhurried Studio Flow

As Whisper Press Studio grew, I realized I didn't want to build another place where every idea had to become something. I wanted room to slow down. To follow an idea simply because I was curious. To make something without immediately deciding whether it should become a product, a post, or anything at all.

Some of that permission was already tucked inside Vale & Glow in the pauses, the quiet, and the reminder that rest is allowed. WPS gave me a place to carry that same permission into making. So the studio gets to move at its own pace. Ideas can wander. Experiments can stay experiments. And sometimes, making something is reason enough.

Hi, I'm Ikeshia.

I’ve never been very good at staying in one creative lane, and I’ve finally stopped trying to.

I like paper, stickers, stationery, making things with my hands, figuring out how things work, and following an idea just to see where it goes. Sometimes that means making handmade paper. Sometimes it’s burning designs into wood, glittering a pencil holder, trying a new material, or getting completely distracted by something I suddenly need to learn how to make.

Whisper Press Studio gives me room for all of it. I don’t have to decide what kind of maker I am before I start. I can just make...because I can.
